James H. Williams

James H. “Jimmy” Williams died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 60.

Born in Warren County, Mr. Williams was a lifelong resident. He attended Culkin Academy and was an employee of LeTourneau Technologies with 26 years of service.

He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter, Cathy Williams of Vicksburg; one son, James “Jamie” Williams of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren, Guy Turner Williams, Harley Williams, Brittney Bost, Kaitlyn Williams, James “Brother” Williams Jr., Hunter Williams, Gabriel Williams and Che Garcia; two sisters, Pat Hartley of Vicksburg and Betty “Winkie” Mangum of Nesbit, Miss.; one brother, David Williams of Ethel, La.; his mother, Florence Williams of Vicksburg; and special friends, Ruby Phelps and Kyle Hall of Vicksburg.

He was preceded in death by his father, D.T. Williams; and a nephew, Derek Williams.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Riles Funeral Home chapel with Les Ferguson and Reggie Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Pete Hartley, David B. Williams, Chris Mangum, Perry Mangum, Scott Wescott, Roberto Garcia, Johnny Lewis, Charles Sibley and J.W. Boler.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Lee Giffin, Dr. Hendrik Kuiper, Joe Richardson, Guy Lewis Jr., Jimmy Lewis, Wayne Sibley, Teddy Holman, Dub Boler, Pace Boler, Danny Boler, Walter Hynum, Red Partridge and employees of LeTourneau Technologies.
