In Warren County Circuit Court the week ending Friday:

* Adren J. Grissom, 29, 107 Greenbriar Drive, pleaded guilty to sale of cocaine and was sentenced by Judge Isadore Patrick to three years in prison, followed by five years’ probation, and fined $1,622.50, in an April 9, 2007, arrest.

* Lacole Denise Williams, 25, 64 Willie Lane, pleaded guilty to two counts of uttering a forgery and was sentenced by Patrick to three years of probation, fined $1.801.39 and ordered to complete a GED in a year. She was arrested in July 2008.

* Chandrick E. Coleman, 24, 901 Pierce St., was sentenced by Patrick to seven years in prison — five for violating probation for a 2005 sentence for shooting into a dwelling and two after pleading guilty to possession of a weapon by a convicted felon in 2008. The latter carries a $322.50 fine.

* Ricky C. Smith, 46, 775 Dudley Road, was sentenced by Patrick to six years in prison — five for violating probation for a July 2005 possession of precursor chemical charge and one for malicious mischief and possession of burglar’s tools in July 2008 — followed by five years of probation, plus $2,322.50 in fines.

For violating probation:

* Lar’ray M. Armstrong, 25, 603 Florence Ave., was sentenced by Patrick to three years in prison, followed by two years of probation, from an Aug. 4, 2006, arrest for burglary and grand larceny.

* Desmond D. King, 35, 353 Bayou Blvd., was sentenced by Judge Frank Vollor to four years in prison, from a May 12, 2005, arrest for possession of cocaine.

* Stephen L. Shows, 38, 161 Martin Circle, Mendenhall, was sentenced by Vollor to six years in prison, from a Feb. 20, 2003, arrest for possession of methamphetamine.

* Antonio D. Peters, 26, 514 Bowmar Ave., was sentenced by Vollor to one year in prison and completion of the MDOC alcohol and drug program, followed by two years in the intensive supervision program, plus $2,592.50 in fines, from a May 24, 2007, arrest for third-offense DUI.

* Gabriel Brewer, 36, 3860 Gowall Road, was sentenced by Patrick to three years in prison, from a Jan. 1, 2004, arrest for third-offense DUI.

* Zachary J. Gustavis, 25, 445 Fredrica Ave., Jackson, was sentenced by Patrick to two years in prison, from a Feb. 15, 2004, arrest for receiving stolen property.

* James G. Ross, 25, 2234 Grove St. Apt. A, was sentenced by Patrick to three years in prison followed by three years of probation, from an April 5, 2001, arrest for sale of cocaine.

* Henry C. Shy, 24, 3534 N. Washington St., was sentenced by Patrick to three years in prison, from an April 5, 2007, arrest for burglary of a business.
