Scott and Kathleen Kirby of Elgin, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelcey, to Kody Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong is the son of Denise and John Hluska of Vicksburg and Kevin and Stacy Armstrong of Lake Charles, La.

Miss Kirby is the granddaughter of Ronnie and Dorthy Polston of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Kip and Rosie Kirby of Gainesville, Ga.

Mr. Armstrong is the grandson of Marie Rogers and the late John F. Rogers of Vicksburg and Kenneth Armstrong and the late Wilma Armstrong of Tennessee.

The bride-elect attended Vicksburg High School, where she was a member of JROTC. She is a groomer at Pet Smart.

The prospective groom  attended Alfred M. Barbe High School in Lake Charles. He is a slot technician at Ameristar casino.

Vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. March 21, 2009, at Wilsonwood Lodge. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
