Warren Central lost all seven of its matches against Northwest Rankin Thursday at the YMCA Reservoir in Brandon. The loss evens WC’s match record at 1-1. Despite the loss, several matches were competitive, including No. 2 girls doubles and mixed doubles.

Lady Vikes’ Christy Patrick and Claire Kendall fell to NWR’s Carley Adams and Jeanie Smith 6-3, 7-5. WC’s mixed doubles pair of Katie Humphries and Stuart English dropped a close match against NWR’s Taylor Burley and Kyle Carpenter 6-3, 6-4. The Vikings boys doubles team of Jamel Dagher and Braddock Oaks lost to NWR’s Chase Black and Daniel McClung 6-4, 6-1.
