Services for Mary Ann Thomas will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clover Valley M.B. Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home from 2 until 5 p.m. and at the church from 1 p.m. until the service Tuesday.

Miss Thomas died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 58.

Born and reared in Claiborne County, Miss Thomas was a member of Clover Valley M.B. Church. She was employed by Alcorn State University.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Susie Lyon Thomas; a brother, J.B. Thomas; and a sister, Earnestine Thomas.

She is survived by her son, Antonio Thomas of Natchez; two  daughters, Rosie Thomas of Port Gibson and Stacy Thomas of Fayette; five brothers, James Thomas of Vicksburg, Addie Coleman of Indianapolis, Ind., Jessie Coleman and Tanza Coleman, both of Tallulah, and the Rev. Dr. Ralph Coleman of Bastrop, La.; seven sisters, Magalene McFowler of Rodney, Gloria Thompson and Wilma Coleman, both of Pompano Beach, Fla., Rosie Coleman and Susie Jasmine, both of Tallulah, Alma Allen of Houston, Texas, and Debby Kantorowic of Honolulu; two grandchildren; and other relatives including Doris Carson and Earnestine Thomas, both of Vicksburg.
