M.T. Bryant

M.T. “Butch” Bryant died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at his home. He was 52.

Mr. Bryant was born in Fayette and lived most of his life in Vicksburg. He was a heavy-equipment operator for Muirhead Dozier Service.

A hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Rita Mae Gragg of St. Amant, La.; his father, George Thomas Bryant of Vicksburg; sisters, Debbie Trabeau of St. Amant and Rita Rousseau of Prairieville, La.; a brother, Ricky Bryant of Vicksburg; and other relatives, including Billie Prince of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Nation officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Trabeau, David Purvis, Ronnie Muirhead, David Stewart, Ronnie Taylor and Eddie Cloutre.
