EL D0RADO, Ark. — Sarah Margaret Herring died Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, Ark. She was 80.

Mrs. Herring was born in El Dorado to John and Maude Augusta Thomas. She had served on the board of directors of First United Methodist Church of El Dorado.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Roscoe Nelson Herring; one son, Donald Alan Herring of Little Rock; two daughters, Sandra Herring Huffman of Vicksburg and Vicky Herring of El Dorado; and two grandsons.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church of El Dorado under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado.
