Linda Bentley Allen died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 48.

Ms. Allen was a member of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Davenport; a brother, William Bentley; and a sister Debra Bentley.

Survivors include five sons, Darren Bentley of Wichita Falls, Texas, James Bentley of Hampton, Va., Danny Bentley, Joseph Bentley, and Tavarus Allen, all of Las Vegas; a daughter, Linda Robinson of Vicksburg; four sisters, Betty Bentley and Charlene Bentley, both of Milwaukee, and Dorothy Berry and Joean Bailey, both of Vicksburg; five brothers, Robert Bentley and Wilbert Bentley, both of Milwaukee, Grover Berry and Joe Edward Berry, both of Vicksburg, and Barry J. Bentley of Brookhaven; seven grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
