Charlotte Cureington Robinson

Charlotte Cureington Robinson died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Hospice Ministries in Jackson. She was 53.
Mrs. Robinson was born in Alameda, Calif. She was a long-time resident of Vicksburg. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and prior to her illness was employed at The Street Clinic.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosalie Lewis Cureington; a sister, Peggy Cureington Jones; and paternal grandparents, Ray and Corletta Cureington.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Robinson Sr. of Vicksburg; son, Jason Temple and wife Beth of Jackson; stepson, Roy Robinson Jr. and wife Nancy; stepdaughters, Brandy Boyd and husband Lonnie and Amanda Boyd, all of Vicksburg; her parents, Jimmie and Myrtis Cureington of Winnsboro, La.; sisters, Regina David, Pearl Bryant, Jymme Lynn Miley; brothers, James Cureington, Charles Cureington, William Cureington, David Cureington; stepsister, Penny Lee; and stepbrothers, Keith Holley and Donnie Holley, all of Vicksburg; Charlotte had nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Campbell officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Chase Cemetery in Chase, La., at 2 p.m., with the Revs. Kent Campbell and Johnny Hankins officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 5 until 8 at Glenwood Funeral Home.
