Services for Luther Selvy Sr. will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethlehem M.B. Church with the Rev. Booker T. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 3 p.m. Saturday at Robbins Funeral Home and Sunday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.

Mr. Selvy died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Promise Hospital. He was 78.

Survivors include his wife, Katie Cage Selvy of Vicksburg; nine daughters, Mary Wilson, Minnie Selvy, Betty Allen, Laura Selvy, Alginia Selvy, Katie R. Selvy, Mattie Selvy, Monica Walker and Willia Selvy, all of Vicksburg; three sons, Henry Selvy, Luther Selvy Jr. and Willie B. Selvy, all of Vicksburg; one brother, Robert Taylor of Vicksburg; 30 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
