MILWAUKEE — Johnny “John” Davis died Monday, April 13, 2009, in Milwaukee. He was 57.

Mr. Davis was born in Lorman, where he was a member of Morning Star M.B. Church. He was a telephone technician for AT&T for more than 30 years, retiring in 2007.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Davis Sr.; two brothers, Robert Davis Sr. and Cornelius Davis Sr.; and a sister, Geraldine Davis.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Reed Davis; three sisters, Earnestine Woods, Al’Lean M. Davis and Mary Davis, all of Milwaukee; two brothers, Charles Davis of Milwaukee and Michael Davis of Olympia Fields, Ill.; an aunt; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Leon L. Williamson Funeral Home in Milwaukee. Burial followed at Graceland Cemetery.
