John Russell McLeod died Monday, April 20, 2009, at his home. He was 62.

Mr. McLeod was a lifelong resident of Warren County. He worked as a pipefitter for P.S.I. and P.P.C., retiring in 1995.

He was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard E. McLeod.

Survivors include his mother, Isabel McLeod of Vicksburg; two daughters, Tanya Alice Crocker of Birmingham, Ala., and Betsy Dawn Lynch of Vicksburg; and four brothers, Richard Emmett McLeod of Oakland and Ronald Lynn McLeod, David Dean McLeod and Donald Ray McLeod, all of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Herron officiating. Burial will follow at St. Alban’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bo McLeod, Sean McLeod, Byron McLeod, Bubba McLeod, Roger Williams and Joe Cole.
