Vicksburg firefighters Kenneth Conley, left, and Demetriuse Claiborne wait while water sprays from a fire truck Monday at City Front during an annual state-required pump test for water pressure and capacity. The truck, a 1993 model, is from Station 6 at Cherry and Jackson streets. Fire trucks last an average of 20 years when they have good maintenance, the men said.
