The engagement of Gloria Dean London Kline of Vicksburg to Andrew Thomas of St. Louis, Mo., is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. June 13, 2009, at St. Mary’s Parish Center, formerly Baltes Gymnasium. A reception will follow. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Ms. Kline is the daughter of Rosetta London and the late Edgar “Bob” London Sr. of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Robert and Mollie London, the late Rosie Young and the late Clarence Rush, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Thomas is the son of the late Robert and Sallie Thomas of Edwards. He is the grandson of the late Mittie and William Thomas of Edwards.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Vicksburg High School. She received associate degrees from Hinds Community College and Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Ms. Kline is a practical nursing instructor at Hinds Community College.

The prospective groom attended Utica High School. He is employed in maintenance at Wal-Mart SuperCenter.
