Malana Denae Westcott and Russell Allen Hartley Jr., both of Vicksburg, will be married May 23, 2009, in a private ceremony in Vicksburg. A reception will follow. Invitations will be sent.

Miss Westcott is the daughter of Elvin and Patricia Westcott of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Larry Arcement of St. Bernard, La.; the late Blanche Smith; and the late John and Mildred Westcott.

Mr. Hartley is the son of Kimbrell and Darren McKnight of Summit and the late Russell Allen Hartley Sr. He is the grandson of the late Betty Bruce, the late James Ashmore, the late Mary Ann and Buck Carroll and the late Don Hartley.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was a member of the Gator Girls and Missy Gators soccer team.

She attended Hinds Community College.

The prospective groom attended Warren Central High School.

He is an electrician with Evers & Whatley at International Paper Co.
