The 31st historic Riverfront mural unveiling ceremony, honoring R.G. LeTourneau, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the City Front, nearly completing the eight-year project spearheaded by Vicksburg Riverfront Mural Committee chairman Nellie Caldwell.

The mural is sponsored by C.H. and Jo Wilson of Vicksburg and friends of LeTourneau.

C.H. Wilson’s father, Clyde H. Wilson, was an original worker who helped build the LeTourneau Vicksburg plant in 1942 and then became president of LeTourneau Marines for 20 years until his retirement in the mid-1990s.
