• Jacorey Wright, 16, 1405 Locust St., bond at $450,000, down from $500,000.

• Sha’Kayla Caples, 18, 414 Ford Road, bond at $375,000, down from $400,000.

Caples, the Warren Central High School basketball star who received an athletic scholarship to college, was arraigned before Judge Walterine Langford in Vicksburg Municipal County late Thursday afternoon, hours after the other three because her paperwork had not been completed, officials said.

The four, all arrested Wednesday, are accused in six of 10 reported armed robberies and attempted armed robberies. The bond reductions came in the attempted armed robbery charges. Their cases are expected to be presented to the August term of the Warren County grand jury.

The robberies and attempted robberies have been against pedestrians on Drummond and Mulvihill streets, Oak and Klein streets, Berryman Road, City Front and other locations throughout the city.

Lt. Bobby Stewart of the Vicksburg Police Department said more arrests are expected.
