HYATTSVILLE, Md. — Clois Johnson died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Larkin Chase Nursing Home in Bowie, Md. She was 93.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac and Cora Johnson and Robert Hams who reared her; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Brown; a brother, Aro Johnson; and a sister, Trulie M. Peaches.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Wigfall of Hyattsville; three grandsons, two granddaughters and six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends including, James A. Brown, Johnnie Daniels, Clifton Otis, Richard Otis, Ruby Thomas and Willie Bell.
