Lucille B. Boone died Tuesday, May 26, 2009. She was 76.

Ms. Boone was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived most of her life in Boston, Mass., and Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Boone Stephens; and her parents, Frank Gunnar and Elvera Amnellus Braconier.

She is survived by two sons, Johnny Boone and Peter Boone; a daughter, Vera Boone; and one granddaughter.

A memorial service will be at Riverfront Park Pavilion at 12:30 p.m. Sunday. A gathering will follow.
