Graham W. “Billy” Tucker died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at his home in Lake Charles, La. He was 80.

A native of Hartford, Ala., Mr. Tucker was the son of the late George G. and Margaret Waits Tucker. 

He retired from the Air Corps in 1974 after 25 years of service. He was stationed with the Strategic Air Command in Japan, Iceland and other areas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine R. Tucker.

Survivors include four daughters, Peggi Gillispie and Patti Ney, both of Houston, Cathie Hoover of Lake Charles and Teri Walker of Birmingham; one sister, Dorothy Strag of Georgia; two brothers, Grady Tucker of Florida and Gordon Tucker of Tennessee; and 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Yokena Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at Fisher Funeral Home and Friday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the service.

Pallbearers will be members of the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.
