Three jailed on methamphetamine charges

Three Vicksburg men were in Warren County Jail Friday after being arrested Thursday night on methamphetamine charges.

Christopher Jones, 35, 1124 Oak Ridge Road; Donald Comans, 29, 8568 Oak Ridge Road; and Bobby Comans, 30, 741 Dabney St., were arrested by agents from the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics. The three were picked up after a traffic stop by MBN agents at U.S. 61 South and Dana Road just before 10 Thursday night.

Jones, charged with possession of meth and possession of prescription drugs, was being held without bond. Donald Comans’ bond was set at $2,500, and Bobby Comans’ bond at $15,000. Both were charged with possession of meth.

It was not clear if Bobby Comans and Donald Comans are related.

MBN agents recovered 3 grams of meth with a street value of $300, said MBN spokesman Delores Lewis. No further information was available on the initial reason for the traffic stop.
