Miss Heartland Laura Lee Lewis was crowned Miss Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen in competition at Vicksburg City Auditorium Saturday night.

“I can’t believe I’m wearing this crown,” the 16-year-old daughter of Mark and Lorin Lewis of Brookhaven said.

She sang “Somewhere,” the same selection she performed Friday in the second night of preliminary competition, the same night she took both preliminary contests.
