Warren County-based H&B Corporation has filed an intent to raise sewer rates with the Mississippi Public Service Commission.

Rates cover the firm’s certificated area for providing sewer service, primarily in northeast Warren County. Current monthly rates for its customers total $16.25.

The matter will be considered at the next regular meeting of the commission at 10 a.m. July 9. Meetings are held on the first floor of the Woolfolk State Office building in Jackson.

The commission can set a hearing at a later date if written petitions to intervene are filed with the commission by July 1.
