Cleveland, Hill exchange vows on April 19

Anthony Darnell Cleveland II and DeJané Shante Hill were married at 5 p.m. April 19, 2009, at the Knights of Columbus. Richard Bradford officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Brown of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Sammie and Velma Williams and the late Flora Becks-Cox, all of Vicksburg, and Horace Becks of Phoenix, Ariz.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wheeler of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Jones of Vicksburg; Laura Spencer and Leedora Cleveland, both of Fayetteville, N.C.; and Oneal Cleveland of Sprotts, Ala.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were pool blue, canary yellow and rose pink.
Maids of honor were Kanika Frye and Stephanie Drain, both of Jackson, and Kourtney Wallace of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were LaRhonda Clark and Arcola Scott, both of Vicksburg, and Edith Hamilton of D’Iberville.
Flower girl was Aidyn Cleveland of Vicksburg.
Marcus Randle of Vicksburg served as best man. Groomsmen were Donald Graves and Channing Lane, both of Vicksburg; Bryce Shepherd of Sasche, Texas; and Aaron Wilson of Mesa, Ariz.
Ring bearer was Tristan Hemphill of Vicksburg.
Miniature bride was Ronshaylin Walker; miniature groom was Kameron Wallace, nephew of the bride.
A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus.
Hostesses were Toccora Hemphill, Rosella Shepherd and Debra Lane. Tea girl was Shekiya Hill.
For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Galveston, Texas.
They will make their home in Killeen, Texas. The bride is employed at Sallie Mae and is a student, and the groom is in the U.S. Army.
