TALLULAH — Mary “Peggy” Catherine Claughton died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 90.

Miss Claughton was born in Tallulah where she lived her entire life. She was a retired secretary for Tallulah Production Credit Association and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 2:30 today at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Lauren Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be today from 1:30 until the hour of the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Bishop, James Tucker, James Reeves, Larry Ezell, Craig Russell and Dr. Robert C. Russell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Wyly and Boyce “Sonny” Miller Jr.
