Porters Chapel Academy on Tuesday promoted former Raymond High coach and PCA junior high football coach Bill Fleming as their new football coach.

Fleming has been at PCA for two seasons as school’s athletic director.

Fleming replaces Randy Wright, who retired after 13 years, five of which were spent as the Eagles’ head football coach.

PCA headmaster Doug Branning will take over the baseball program next season.
