Audie “Sis” Davis died Friday, June 26, 2009. She was 81.

Born in Arcola, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Edna Scruggs Roden.

Mrs. Davis had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1970 and was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Davis; four brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Connie D. Southerland of Vicksburg; a son, Robert “Mike” Davis of Vicksburg; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Green Acres Memorial Park with the Rev. Morris “Trey” Lewis officiating. Visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home from 9 a.m. Monday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Quimby, Scott Hazzlerigg, Branan Southerland, Matthew Southerland, Chad Stuart and James Beard.
