Harvey E. Lewis died today, June 29, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 53.

A Warren County native, Mr. Lewis was a 1973 graduate of Warren Central High School. He was a member of St. Paul M.B. Church in Bovina, where he was in the male choir.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed Harvey Lewis and Beatrice Jones Lewis; a brother, Dexter Lewis; and his grandparents, Lucius and Louvenia Jones.

Survivors include two sons, Frank Bradley of Vicksburg and Louis Bradley of Jackson; three daughters, Christina Lewis Carter of Vicksburg, Leia Osinowd of Raymond and Louvenia Lewis of Champaign, Ill.; two brothers, Ed Lewis of Vicksburg and Rufus Johnson of New Jersey; and a number of grandchildren.
