Bobo Harris is bringing back a second helping of his Fast Feet Performance football camp.

Last month, Harris gave a three-day camp for some 45 players at St. Aloysius High School. The players ranged in age from 8 to 17 years old.

This time he wants to work with just high school players and wants to expand the reach beyond just St. Al and include all Warren County and surrounding area schools.

“I talked this over with coach (B.J.) Smithhart and we wanted to put something together for more of the high school kids only, but to include the other Vicksburg city schools and the surrounding area schools in the Vicksburg Post area like Tallulah and Port Gibson,” Harris said.

The camp has been set for July 23-25 at St. Al’s Balzli Field. Like the first camp, it will feature Harris instructing players on nearly 300 different speed, balance and agility drills. Passing drills will also be emphasized.

“I think the dates are perfect because the camp will be one week before the start of fall practice. It will get the guys really ready to work going into their season,” Harris said. “I’ve already had some contact from some players over in Texas and in Florida and Vicksburg would be a good in the middle spot for them. We’re hoping we have a field full of guys. If we run over, I’ll just break it down to work the others at different times.”

Mississippi High School teams and private schools can begin fall practice on Aug. 3.
