CARY — Daniel Coleman “Bo Pete” Williams Jr. died Monday, July 6, 2009, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. He was 59.
A Cary resident, Mr. Williams was employed in farming.
He is survived by his mother, Hattie M. Sanders of Cary; three sons, Derrick Hall and Daniel Hall, both of Rolling Fork, and Fredrick Hall of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Latarsha Hall Jones and Danielle Hall, both of Rolling Fork; six brothers, Robert Sanders and Archie Sanders, both of Cary, James Sanders of Sunflower, Henry Sanders of Vicksburg, Willie Williams of Chatham and Elijah Williams of Chicago; eight sisters, Faye Williams and Barbara Williams, both of Chicago, and Margaret Williams, Ethel Hoye, Deloris Sanders, Rosie Sanders, Jeanette Armstrong and Lubertha Sanders, all of Cary; 11 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends, including Sammie Armstrong of Cary.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion M.B. Church in Cary with Pastor Carl Dorsey officiating. Burial will follow at Cary Community Cemetery. A wake service will be from 6 until 7 tonight at Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
