Kitchens, Pedroche recite vows in Florida

Jay Paul Kitchens and Karen Nicole Pedroche were married at 11:30 a.m. May 30, 2009, at McKee Botanical Gardens of Vero Beach, Fla. The Rev. Warriner Hutchinson officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late Dr. Joel G. Pedroche of Nassau, Bahamas, and Emily Rose Pedroche of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Conrado and Avelina Pedroche of the Philippines and James and Sarah Wilson of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Helen Magruder of Vicksburg.

Given in marriage by Ethan and Evan Childers, the bride’s chosen colors were black and white.

Matron of honor was Beverly Forsythe of Boynton Beach, Fla. Bridesmaid was Janis Lynch of Carrollton, Ga.

Alec Kitchens of Vicksburg served as best man. Groomsmen were Ethan Childers and Evan Childers, both of Vicksburg.

A reception followed at Maison Martinique restaurant.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Peter Island Resort in the British Virgin Islands.

They will make their home in Vicksburg. The bride is a nurse at Covenant Health & Rehab of Vicksburg, and the groom owns River City Liquor.
