The Vicksburg Venom 11-year-olds’ baseball team lost 9-1 this morning in the second game of the USSSA Global World Series in Southaven. The loss comes on the heels of a 10-10 tie the Venom played last night against the Missouri Vipers.

In the Thursday game, the Venom jumped out to a 7-0 lead with a triple from Will Pierce and doubles from John Austin Burris and Matthew Register to chase the Vipers’ starter out of the game in the first.
