T.F. “Thad” Green died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. He was 63.

Mr. Green was a native of Hickory, Miss., a former resident of Moss Point and had lived in Vicksburg for a number of years. A U.S. Army veteran, he served in Vietnam, and was also an electrician for the railroad and had worked for Tyson Foods in Decatur, Miss.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Juanita Smith Green.

Survivors include four daughters, Pam Green of Orange Beach, Fla., Tracy Norris of Vicksburg, Brenda Smith of California and Linda Bills of Idaho; a son, Mark Green of Vicksburg; two sisters, Thelma Green and Katherine Green, both of Texas; two brothers, Bill Green and Charles Green, both of Texas; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. James Hess officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the service at the funeral home.
