CANTON — Mable M. Millsap died Thursday, July 16, 2009, at Madison County Medical Center. She was 69.

Ms. Millsap was an usher at New Bethel M.B. Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Matlock and James Matlock, both of Canton; two daughters, Gloria Hughes and Lillie Sims, both of Canton; four brothers, L.C. Matlock, Curtis Matlock, John Matlock and Adiffie Matlock, all of Canton; two sisters, Helen Crossley and Mary Sims, both of Canton; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Thursday at New Bethel M.B. Church in Canton with the Rev. Steven Gates officiating. Burial will follow at Hope Well Cemetery in Canton. Visitation will be from 3 until 6 p.m. Wednesday at Family Memorial Chapel in Canton with Mitchell L. Walker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
