Mary D. Flowers

Mary D. Flowers died Tuesday, July 21, 2009. She was 79.
A native of Alabama, Mrs. Flowers was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Davis. She was a registered nurse for 50 years and had worked for the Warren County Health Department for a number of years. She retired from Heritage House in 2006.
Mrs. Flowers was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Flowers; three sons, Edward Flowers and Kyle Flowers, both of Vicksburg, and Michael Flowers of Port Gibson; one brother, James Davis of Vicksburg; two sisters, Barbara Howell of Muscle Shoals, Ala., and Peggy Cobb of Benton, Ark.; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Earnie Hall officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from
