Army Pvt. Kevin D. Strawbridge has completed the Warrior Transition course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. The course teaches basic skills necessary for integration into the Army for all prior-service service members to fully prepare them for Advanced Individual Training. Soldiers must complete the Army Physical Fitness Test, tactical foot marches, field and situational training and land navigation.
He is the brother of Wanda Reeves of Vicksburg and a 2002 graduate of the Youth Challenge Program.
Army Pvt. Andrieka R. Epting has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, she studied the Army mission and physical fitness and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare, rifle marksmanship and field tactics.
She is the daughter of Dandrea Frazier of Fort Worth, Texas, and the granddaughter of Queen Frazier of Lake Providence.
Command Chief Master Sgt. Jeffrey Antwine has served as the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing’s command chief master sergeant since July 2008. He will serve his final year as the 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron superintendent at Shaw Air Force Base. He is a 29-year veteran and a graduate of Vicksburg High School.
