Barbara Tolliver, executive director of the United Way of West Central Mississippi, has been chosen to attend the CEO Learning Circle on Aug. 24-26 in Chicago.

The conference, in its first year, was established by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, a private charitable organization founded in 1948 that aims to help disadvantaged children.

Tolliver’s selection was based on an application process and her years of community service and United Way leadership. She and 19 others from across the country will focus on group problem solving, individual and peer counseling and leadership skills.
