Ray E. Moody died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 89.

Mr. Moody was born in Crystal Springs and had lived in Utica, but resided in Vicksburg most of his life. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union No. 619.

He is survived by a son, Ray Moody of Long Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Carol Moody of Gulfport and Crystal Pannell of Texas; one brother, John Moody of Vicksburg; and a grandchild.

A graveside service, directed by Glenwood Funeral Home, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Green Acres Memorial Park. The Rev. Mike Fields will officiate.
