Patterson, Ashley recite vows May 14 in Las Vegas

Richard Brian Patterson and Lareina Kay Ashley were married at 8 p.m. May 14, 2009, in a private ceremony at Wedding Bells Chapel in Las Vegas. The Rev. Ed Trejo officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Joan Grey Morgan and the late Larry Mac Morgan. She is the granddaughter of the late Leonard Grey, Edna Grey, the late James Mac Morgan and the late Gladys Morgan, all of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Ken and Linda Patterson. He is the grandson of the late Henry Beard, the late Queenie Beard-Losch, the late Henry Patterson and Frankie Patterson, all of Vicksburg.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother, the bride’s chosen colors were peach and ivory. She carried a blue bandana in memory of her son, the late Daniel Blok.

Following the ceremony the couple dined with their parents at the Luxor.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Cancun, Mexico.

They will make their home in Vicksburg. The bride is a nurse at Promise Specialty Hospital, and the groom is a contractor employed with Brad Hasty Painting.

Shower

Co-workers Tasha Snow and Fami Valerio hosted a shower at their place of employment.

Golfing

The groom lunched and hosted a golf outing with friends.

A reception will be held in October at B’nai B’rith Literary Club.
