FAYETTE — Louis McBride died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, at his home. He was 57.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rebecca Marie McBride; a daughter, Latasha Woodard; and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Cythnia McBride; four stepchildren, Comota Mackey, Shanta Mackey and Tony Mackey, all of Dallas, and Jenethia Hall of Fayette; four brothers, Richard McBride of Fayette, Alfred McBride and Willard McBride of Vicksburg and James Taylor of Los Angeles; two sisters, Etta Hudson of Fayette and Inez Carter of Vicksburg; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 today at Hollywood Baptist Church with the Rev. Elvis Colenburg officiating. Burial, directed by Rollins Funeral Home, will follow at the church cemetery.
