Nadia Galtney and Melvin Richardson will be married at 4 p.m. Aug. 22, 2009, at Rainbow arena, formerly Funtricity. A reception will follow.

Miss Galtney is the daughter of Mary Galtney of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Ruth and Robert Nixon and the late Kenneth Galtney, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Richardson is the son of Barbara Hester and Melvin Sr. and Kristin Richardson, all of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Marie Hester and the late Douglas Hester Sr. and Dora Wolfe, all of Vicksburg.
