A Richland man was charged with residential burglary and possession of stolen property while being arrested for misdemeanor defrauding an innkeeper at Riverwalk Casino Saturday, Vicksburg police officials said.

Kevin O’Brian Todd, 41, 117 Pearl Ave., is accused of taking 10 credit cards from a home in the 400 block of Lakewood Drive where he worked as a handyman, police investigator Johnnie Edwards said.

Patrolmen found Todd at the house while responding to an alarm at 9:57 a.m. He was released after a phone call with the out-of-town owner revealed that he was an employee, Edwards said.
