A Vicksburg man was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute Wednesday.

Anthony Culbertson, 28, 114 Choctaw Circle, was arrested during a traffic stop at about 5 p.m. on South Frontage Road near Halls Ferry Road after Warren County officials recognized his black Chevrolet Impala from a call about a disturbance at a business on Indiana Avenue, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

A consensual search revealed an ounce and a half of marijuana, a package of plastic bags used for retail sale, a small scale and a substance used for cutting cocaine and crystal methamphetamine, Pace said.
