Food, television among items stolen in city over weekend

Food, a video game console and entertainment appliances were among items reported stolen in Vicksburg, police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.
A box of hamburger patties valued at $15, assorted pot pies valued at $6, $5 and hot wings valued at $6 were reported taken from a home in the 400 block of Locust Street at 3:46 a.m. Saturday.
An Xbox 360 game console valued at $200 and an Xbox 360 video game valued at $40 were reported stolen from a home in the 1900 block of Baldwin Ferry Road at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
A 13-inch Emerson DVD TV combination valued at $169, a Philips DVD player valued at $25 and a microwave valued at $99 were reported stolen from a home in the 200 block of Tully Street at 4:15 p.m. Saturday.
A purse valued at $40 and the contents were reported stolen from a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 3900 block of Washington Street at 9:53 a.m. Sunday.
