YAZOO CITY — Faye Jerrydine Stewart Washington died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009. She was 65.

Mrs. Washington was preceded in death by her parents, William Sr. and Eddie Hazel Stewart; one sister, Jacqueline Stewart; and one brother, George Chung.

She is survived by one son, Billy G. Stewart of Hopeville, N.C.; one daughter, Jacqueline Washington of Yazoo City; two sisters, Pinkye Stewart of Vicksburg and Mary Margaret Kimbrough of Flower Mound, Texas; three brothers, William Stewart Jr. of San Diego, Calif., Tommy Winn of Fort Worth, Texas, and Charles H. Stewart of Detroit, Mich.; five grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including Dyanne Jones and members of the Bosley, Taylor, McRaven and Clark families.

A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 129 N. Washington St. in Yazoo City. Burial will follow. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Shaffer and Collins Funeral Home in Yazoo City.
