Services for Ruby Thornton will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Williams Funeral Service.

Mrs. Thornton died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 99.

She was a member of Holly Grove M.B. Church, where she served on the mother’s board.
