Frances Lorene McKenzie died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 79.

Born in Grenada County, she was the daughter of the late Edward Morrow and Elma Inez James Morrow. She was a retired employee of Cooper Lighting and was a member of the Retired Employees Breakfast Club of Cooper Lighting Company.

Mrs. McKenzie was a member of Porters Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Davis, Myrtle Robertson and Molly Shaw; and four brothers, Winford Morrow, Travis Morrow, J.C. Morrow and Dent Morrow.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Cecil McKenzie of Vicksburg; two sons, Gerald W. McKenzie of Vicksburg and Ricky Mc-Kenzie of Michigan City, Miss.; a sister, Catherine Johnson of Eupora; a brother, Ralph Morrow of Greenville; and two grandsons.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Green Acres Memorial Park with the Rev. Jimmy Biedenharn officiating. Visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service.  

Pallbearers will be Todd Fulgham, Michael Johnson, Bubba Johnson, Charlie Williamson, Jamie Morrow and Stevie McKenzie.
