Mr. Keen, Miss Henry recite vows June 27

James William Keen and Anya Rae Henry were married at 1 p.m. June 27, 2009, at Cedar Grove Mansion Inn. Dr. Stephen White, uncle of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ray Henry of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Austin Henry Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur David White Jr., all of Vicksburg.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Dale Keen of Hattiesburg, formerly of Picayune. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Arthur Keen of D’Lo and the late Samuel William Dyar and Eula Mae Dyar, both of Mendenhall.
Classical and traditional selections were performed by the Magnolia String Quartet and Joan Henderson-Leese, pianist. Vocalists were Kay White, Dr. and Mrs. Stephen White and Dr. Leon A. Henry Jr.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Dara-Lyn Hendrix of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Lindsey White Parker, cousin of the bride, of Cordova, Tenn.; Julie Keen Bennett, sister of the groom, of Buford, Ga.; Brooke Oliver Sorrells of Birmingham, Ala.; and Kristi Ann Chancellor of Sturgis.
Junior bridesmaid was Jenny White of Clinton.
Honorary attendants were Lyndzie Crabtree McCullough and Robyn Dowe Wells, both of Vicksburg, and Emily Bowen Rut of Brandon.
Flower girls were Leah Irby of Canton and Makenzie White of Pelham, Ala.
The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were David Austin Henry, brother of the bride, of Vicksburg; Adam Clay Bennett, brother-in-law of the groom, of Buford; Justin Edward Sova of Car-riere; and Christopher Charles Lenard of Flowood.
Ushers were Jim Barnes Josh Bracher of Mendenhall and Brett Duhe of Ponchatoula, La., cousins of the groom; Jim Barnes of Hattiesburg; Robert Dupont of Carriere; and Dave Dyar, uncle of the groom, of Madison.
Junior bride was Presley White of Petal. Junior groom was Cole Irby of Canton.
Attending the guest book was Kristen Duhe, cousin of the groom, of Ponchatoula.
Special wedding assistants were Dianne Dyar of Madison and Marlene Hollowell of Vicksburg.
A reception followed in the main dining area of the mansion.
For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Sandals Grande Antigua. They will make their home in Hattiesburg, where the groom is employed with Marshall Durbin Companies.
Rehearsal dinner
On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents honored members of the wedding party and families with a rehearsal dinner at Anchuca.
Brunch
A bridal brunch was held at the home of Mrs. Burton Boyd. Special guests were the mothers and grandmothers of the bridal couple.
Tea
A family tea was held at the home of Mrs. Thomas Henry. Co-hostesses were Mrs. Chris Bates, Mrs. Brian Davis, Mrs. James Henry, Mrs. Jimmy Henry, Mrs. Michael Henry, Mrs. Andy Lovorn, Mrs. David McClurg, Mrs. Mike Reames, Mrs. Josh Thomas and Mrs. Randall Williams.
Showers
The bride was honored with a shower at Woodlawn Baptist Church. Hostesses were Mrs. Gene Bryant, RoxAnn Dowe, Mrs. Robert Farish, Mrs. Dale Oliver, Mrs. Carroll Smith, Mrs. Eddie Smith Jr. and Mrs. Chad Sorrells.
The bride was honored with a shower at the home of Mrs. Shannon White in Petal. Co-hostesses were Mrs. Gary Miller, Mrs. Shelby White and Mrs. Stephen White.
The bridal couple was honored with a miscellaneous shower, arranged by the school’s hospitality committee, at Mason Elementary in Laurel.
A lingerie shower was held at the home of Mrs. Matt Hendrix. Assisting in hostessing were Mrs. Clay Bennett, Kristi Chancellor, Mrs. Nathan Jones, Mrs. Wayne McCullough, Mrs. Matt Parker, Mrs. Brandon Rut, Mrs. Chad Sorrells, Mrs. Dennis Steed and Mrs. Cameron Wells.
The groom was honored with a honey-do shower at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ray in Canton. Co-hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Tony Acy, Mr. and Mrs. Don Biedenharn, Mrs. Tom Gunter, Mr. and Mrs. Tal Irby and Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Ray.
A miscellaneous shower was held at the home of Mrs. John Bowen. Co-hostesses were Mrs. Doug Branning, Mrs. Billy Crabtree, Mrs. David Goree, Mrs. Tommy Harrelson and Mrs. Marty Hendrix.
