Willie C. Hardges died Tuesday, August 25, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 66.

She was survived by five sons, Tom Hardges Sr. of Petal, Bobby Hardges of Brooklyn, N.Y., John Hardges of Jackson and Sammy Hardges and Henry E. Hardges, both of Vicksburg; three daughters, Mary Hardges, Helen Hardges and Willie M. Hardges, all of Vicksburg; five brothers, Demetris Claiborne of Vicksburg, and T.J. Claiborne Jr., Garlee Claiborne, Ukal Claiborne and the Rev. Gideon Claiborne, all of Pattison; three sisters, Nora Sayles of Pattison, Helen Davis of Texas and Mary Jane Williams of New Jersey; 25 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter M.B. Church in Pattison with the Rev. Troy Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson in charge. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
