• Kelsey Stacy of Vicksburg has been selected as a member of the 2009-2010 Statesmen cheerleading squad at Delta State University in Cleveland. A 2008 graduate of Warren Central High School, she is the daughter of Tim and Michelle Hilbun and Sam Stacy, all of Vicksburg.

• Jacob Fuller, former Vicksburg resident and senior journalism major at the University of Mississippi, has been awarded an internship with the Jackson Clarion Ledger as sports writer for Ole Miss athletics. He is senior staff writer for the university’s newspaper, The Daily Mississippian. He is the son of Fred Fuller and Pamela Smith, both of Vicksburg.
